Betty J. (Jacot) Merkel of Burlington, formerly of South Hadley. June 19th. Beloved wife of the late Walter. Loving mother of Joseph & his wife Jody of Costa Mesa, CA, David & his wife Jean Ann of Burlington, MA and Linda Stimpson & her husband John of Portsmouth, RI. Sister of Edward Jacot & his wife Mary of Chicopee, MA. Proud grandmother of Michael Stimpson, Edward, Troy, Kristiana, Bret, & Tanya Merkel. Great grandmother of Benjamin & Ainsley Stimpson, Adaleigh & Jack Merkel and Isabella Alves. A Memorial Service will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Sunday, July 19th at 4 p.m. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend.
