Obituary of Virginia Rose Vaccarello

Virginia Rose (Catalano) Vaccarello, passed away at the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center on Tuesday morning, July 13, 2015. Virginia was the beloved wife of the late Henry G. who passed away in 2004 and the devoted mother of Faith Anne who passed away at the age of 8. Virginia was born, raised and educated in Lexington. She was one of 13 children born to the late Fortunato and Marie Catalano. Virginia and her husband Henry married and settled in Burlington until recent years when Virginia moved to Lexington to be close to her sister Rachel. Virginia loved flowers. She had them throughout her home and in her garden. Her eyes lit up when she had flowers delivered to her by her brother who had his own greenhouse. Virginia loved to walk. She had her daily routine where she would walk in the morning and then work in her garden in the afternoon. She was a very independent woman who had a mind of her own. She was devoted to her family and blessed to have a wonderful relationship with her brothers and sisters who lovingly cared for her. Virginia was the beloved wife of the late Henry G. Vaccarello. She was the devoted mother of the late Faith Anne. Virginia was the loving sister of James, Rachel & Robert Catalano of Lexington, Josephine Fogarty of Westborough, Anne Mueller of Woburn and Anthony Catalano of Billerica. Virginia was predeceased by many brothers and sisters. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., BURLINGTON on Friday, July 17th at 10 a.m. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours omitted. Interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, BURLINGTON.
