Dear Mrs. Small, Bill, Ted, and extended family,
Sad to hear of Mr. Small's passing. My sisters, Joanne, Susan, and I have fond memories of him. I remember when he gave me a dollar for each time I helped him with yard work, especially when I helped him pick up after he cut down the tree. Mr Small also kept asking me whether my dad would sell our new Crysler K-car. He really wanted that car! He never complained to us when he came home from work and found that we kids had opened up the garage door and had left all the basketballs scattered over the lawn. Very patient and kind! Overall, he was certainly someone I looked up to when I was a child growing up in Burlington. To me he seemed very hard working and devoted to his family. May God bless your family and comfort each of you.
