Obituary of Michelle Harrington

Michelle Lee Harrington, a beloved preschool teacher at Inch by Inch Child Development Center in Burlington, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Dracut on Tuesday, February 27, 2007. She was 23 years old. Michelle was born in Boston. She was raised and educated in Burlington and was a 2001 graduate of Burlington High School. Michelle loved being around children. During high school she worked part time at Inch by Inch Child Development Center in Burlington as an assistant. She went to work full time with Inch By Inch after graduating from high school. She worked with infants, toddlers, and preschool children. It gave her great joy seeing the children’s smiling faces and watching them develop. She would even extend herself if parents needed child care beyond the normal school day. Michelle was an avid reader and loved to shop. She had many good friends with whom she shared many happy times and memories. She will be sadly missed by her students, teachers, family and friends. Michelle is the loving daughter of Cheryl (Hayes) Harrington of Dracut and Martin Harrington of Woburn. She is the granddaughter of Jeanette Hayes of Burlington, Charles and Jane Harrington of North Chelmsford and the late William Hayes. She is the girlfriend of Billy Adams of Woburn. Michelle is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. Funeral Services will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., Burlington (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Saturday, March 3 at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 p.m. Interment will be private. Memorials in Michelle’s name may be made to the Winchester Hospital Foundation, Breast Care Center, 41 Highland Ave., Winchester, MA 01890.
