Obituary of Gerald Anthony Caputo
Gerald Anthony Caputo, age 72, of Concord, formerly of Winchester, passed away September 3, 2015. He was born in January of 1943 to the late Joseph L. and Pauline (Kotosky) Caputo in Chelsea, MA.
Mr. Caputo attended Belmont Hill School and Worcester Academy before being accepted to the prestigious architecture program at Rhode Island School of Design. After his education, Jerry worked for his father’s construction company, J.L. Caputo Construction and was involved in some of Massachusetts’ most significant projects, including the Charles River Locks.
Jerry’s truest passion was for furniture making. Over the years, he has built beautiful pieces for friends and family who will treasure them as his lasting legacy.
Predeceased by his brother, Joseph L. Caputo, Jr. and his parents, Jerry is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Christopher M. and Julie Ryan Caputo of Nashville, TN, his sister and brother-in-law, Miriam T. and B. Robert Talanian, his nieces, Lynne Talanian Mangalo and Robyn Talanian Burns and nephew, David Talanian as well as grand-nieces Lauren Adams and Alexandra Mangalo Hafeez and grand-nephew, Michael Mangalo all of Cape Cod.
