My very sincere and belated condolences to the family of Phyllis Rogers. I am just learning now, approximately 6 years later, of her passing. I first met Phyllis when I was Executive Secretary to the Board of Selectmen and hired her to work in the Selectmen's office at Town Hall. Without question she was an outstanding addition to our staff and displayed a capacity to quickly grasp job related concepts and issues. Her managerial ability, efficiency, and dedication to work helped make our office run smoothly and contributed to making everyone's job more enjoyable. Her sense of humor was most appreciated as was her trust and support. Since knowing Phyllis I always considered her a valued friend. R. I. P. my friend. Additionally, I noted in reading Phyllis' obituary Ed predeceased her; accordingly, please accept my belated condolences on his passing as well. Respectfully, Donald J. Zollo

I am a little late with this note but just saw the obituary. Phyllis was a great lady. I worked with her in the Selectman's office from 1978-1980. She helped me tremendously with the job and work ethics. She also had a great sense of humor and we laughed together many times. I am a better person for having known and worked with her. Peggy

Phyllis was a wonderful lady, friend and confidant for all the years I took minutes for the Board of Selectmen. She loved her job and had the ability to make the Executive Secretary's and Town Administrator that she worked for feel as they came up with all the great ideas. Little did people know all Phyllis did for the Town. When I think of her a smile automatically comes to my face! You are in a better place now Phyllis, know you've done your part! Love, Jean
