Obituary of Edward Weiss

Edward “Ted” William Weiss, age 46, passed away recently at his home. Ted was born on Dec. 24th, 1968. He was a lifelong Burlington resident. He worked as a computer software engineer. Ted is survived by his wife Allison and his two young twin boys, William and Benjamin; his parents Edward and Anne Weiss of Burlington; his sister Liesl Catanzano and her husband Mark Catanzano of Billerica; his brother Scott Weiss and his wife Kerry Weiss of Marshfield; his nieces Emily Catanzano and Lauren Weiss; his nephew Matthew Catanzano; along with many friends. Ted loved being outdoors, camping with friends (N.E.B.D.T.) and hosting barbecues for family and friends. He loved traveling with his wife, especially to the Maine coast. Ted was an animal lover; his dog Dakota and his cats Sam and Cleo will miss him dearly as well. A memorial celebration of Ted’s life will be held at the American Legion, 162 Winn Street, Burlington on Sunday, September 20th from 1 - 4 pm.
