Obituary of Christine Taylor
Christine Marie (Landry) Taylor passed away at her home in Lowell with her children by her side, on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 30, 2015. The beloved wife of the late Bertrand Taylor, she was 70 years old.
Christine was born in Boston. She was raised and educated in Somerville. She was the daughter of the late George and Mary Landry. Christine and her husband Bertrand settled in Woburn where they would raise their three sons. She had moved to Lowell in recent years to be closer to her grandchildren.
Christine was very involved in her son’s lives as they were growing up. She was a stay at home mom that devoted her life to raising her sons. When the boys were young the family enjoyed camping together at Calef Lake Campgrounds in Auburn NH. Christine enjoyed crafts such as rug hook and ceramics. She also had a “green thumb” and any plant she touched thrived! Christine was a Boston sports fan following all the Boston Sports Teams most especially the Red Sox, Bruins and the Patriots.
Christine was blessed to have a wonderful marriage to her husband Bertrand, see her three sons marry and the birth of four grandchildren. Christine was the beloved wife of the late Bertrand Taylor. She was the loving mother of Arthur & his wife Tracy of Dracut, Gerald & his wife Lynne of Tyngsborough and Emmett & his wife Sandra of Danvers. She was the sister of Karen Jusseaume of Quincy, Claudia Landry of Quincy, John Landry of Malden and the late Charles, Fred and Arthur Landry. Christine was the proud Nana of Alanna, Zachary, Mason & Austin Taylor.
A visitation will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Monday, October 5 from 4:00 – 7:30 p.m. Concluding with Funeral Services at 7:30 p.m. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend.
