Obituary of Brian Coady

Brian J. Coady, a resident of Burlington for 51 years, passed away at the E. N. Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital, on Monday morning, March 5, 2007. He was 69 years old. Brian was born in Natick. He was the son of the late Joseph P. and Martha Coady. He was raised in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School. He served his country in the United States Army and was the recipient of the Good Conduct Medal. After leaving the service he served the Massachusetts National Guard Yankee Division. Brian had a successful career as a Draftsman working at RCA, Raytheon and most recently RWE Schott Solar Inc., in Billerica. Brian moved to Burlington in 1955 where he became active member of the community. He served on the first Library Building Committee, was a member of the Citizens Police Academy and taught CCD at St. Margaret’s. Brian was a member of the Billerica Elks and the Burlington K of C where he was a member of the 3rd Degree. He was an avid reader. Brian was a loving brother and uncle who will be missed by all those who loved him. Brian is the beloved son of the late Beloved son of the late Joseph P. & Martha P. Coady. He is the loving brother of Joanne Anderson of Burlington and Stephen Coady of Greensboro, NC. He is the uncle of Kenneth Anderson, Stephen Anderson both of Burlington, David Coady, Kevin Coady & his wife Anita all of Greensboro, NC. Great uncle of Paul and Michael Coady of Greensboro, NC. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Friday, March 9 at 8 a.m.. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington at 9 a.m. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 p.m. Interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
