Obituary of Carol Cerrone

Carol A. Cerrone, passed away at her home in Lexington on Monday evening, January 23, 2012. She was 55 years old. Carol was born in Medford. She was raised and educated in Burlington. Carol was born with Down Syndrome and she was blessed to have a family, care givers and teachers who enhanced her life. They all gave her countless opportunities to shine and feel the joy of life. Carol loved music, singing and dancing. She was big fan of the Beatles and their music. Carol was a “special angel” to her mom Ann. She touched many hearts in her short life and will be lovingly remembered by all. Carol was the beloved daughter of Ann (Anzalone) of Burlington and the late Frederick. Loving sister of Judy Derle & her husband Richard of Waltham, Joan Cerrone-Cormier & her husband Lawrence Cormier of Lowell, Deborah Kimball & her husband Ken of Charlotte, NC and Frederick W. & his wife Christine of Atlanta, GA. Also survived by two nieces and two nephews. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 p.m. Interment in Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington.
