Obituary of Thomas Wagner

Thomas D. Wagner, a retired Postal Worker, passed away at his home on Sunday evening, October 4, 2015. The beloved husband of the late Margaret (Pacious) he was 80 years old. Tom was born, raised and educated in Arlington. He worked in the Construction Industry before becoming a Letter Carrier for the Post Office. Tom and Margaret settled in Burlington where they lived for over 53 years. In his early years Tom was an avid golfer. He loved to take an occasional trip to the local casinos and race tracks. He loved going to Vegas and had taken over 19 trips there. Tom was a devote Catholic and a member of St. Margaret’s Church in Burlington. He was very proud to see his son Phillip become a Priest. Tom attended daily Mass before his health began to decline. He was devoted to his family and his wife Margaret. Tom was the beloved husband of the late Margaret (Pacious). Loving father of Marilyn Forte & her husband William of Burlington, Marcelle Boissenault & her husband Richard of TN, Lorraine Enos of Billerica, Patricia Marchese & her husband Jay of Burlington, Rev. Phillip Wagner of WY, Joseph Wagner & his wife Alessa of Berwick, ME and the late Thomas Wagner. Brother of the late James & Edgar Wagner. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral from the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Friday, Oct. 9 at 11 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington at Noon. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 p.m. Interment in Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington.
