Obituary of Pauline Flodstrom

Pauline “Polly” Flodstrom passed away after a long illness at the East Village Nursing Care Facility in Lexington on Saturday morning, March 10, 2007. She was 74 years old. Polly was born in Waltham, the daughter of the late Earl and Mary Wagner. She grew up in Waltham and was a graduate of Waltham High School. She went on to receive her Associates degree at Fisher College. She worked as an administrative assistant at Custom Column Service for 19 years. Polly was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She loved being around her family. She was married for 49 years. As a couple, they enjoyed traveling and vacationing at Newfound Lake. She was a supportive and loving mother and a proud grandmother. She was a big fan of her children and grandchildren’s athletic accomplishments. She was a familiar face at the hockey rinks, lacrosse, baseball, soccer fields, and any other interest or event in their lives. Polly is the loving wife of Kenneth N. Loving mother of Brian N. & his wife Janet of Stratham, NH and Kristin G. & her husband Glenn Duncan of Billerica. Sister of Marion Johnstone of Nashua, NH and Marjorie Cox of Bridgewater. Grandmother of Matthew, Shawn & Mark Duncan and Amanda, Michael & Nicholas Flodstrom. Funeral services will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., Burlington (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Tuesday, March 13 at 11 a.m. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 p.m. Interment in Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington.
