Obituary of Claire Hogaboom

Claire M. (Joyce) Hogaboom, passed away at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, New Hampshire on Saturday morning, Nov. 21, 2015. She was 64 years old. Claire was born in Boston. She was raised and educated in South Boston. The family moved to Burlington in 1977 where she raised her family. Claire was a School Crossing Guard at the Wildwood School for over 25 years. She was a familiar and friendly face that parents, students and people passing through Burlington would see day after day! It was a job that Claire loved. Claire had a nurturing personality and she was also a Caretaker helping care for seniors in the town of Burlington. Being with her family was the most important part of her life. She was so very proud of her children and their accomplishments. Claire was very blessed to be a part of her children and grandchildren’s lives. She enjoyed going to their sporting events, recitals and other important times throughout their lives. Claire was the wife of Kevin C. Loving mother of Kerry Rinaldi & her husband Paul of Hudson, NH, John & his fiancée Lori Schoepplein of Holbrook, Claire Lord & her husband Cary of Burlington and Kevin of Stoneham. Sister of Marie Crehan of Dorchester. Proud grandmother of Emma & Leah Rinaldi, Patrick Hogaboom and Kailey & Luke Lord. Funeral from the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt., 128 Woburn side) on Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be private.
