Obituary of Joseph Corbett

Joseph J. Corbett, a lifelong resident of Burlington, passed away as the result of a car accident on Friday, December 4, 2015. Joe would have celebrated his 64th birthday on December 14th. Joe was born in Boston. He was raised and educated in Burlington and a graduate of Burlington High School. Joe had a successful career as an Engineer with his most recent job at Aramark in Lawrence where he had many friendships. Joe always had a mechanical aptitude and enjoyed tinkering with cars. He also enjoyed photography. Joe was a quiet man who enjoyed his family. He had a close relationship with nephews as they were growing up. Joe and his dad enjoyed working together on the garden in the family home in Burlington. Joe will be remembered as a loving son, brother and uncle. Joe was the beloved son of Eunice (Lagorio) and the late Thomas of Burlington. Loving brother of Thomas & his wife Carol of Billerica and Nancy Hanson & her husband Eric of Middleboro. Proud uncle of Anthony, Philip, Brian, Jason & Keith. Also survived by 3 great nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St. BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Monday, Dec. 14 at Noon. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:30 AM –Noon. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial will follow in Pine Haven Cemetery. Memorials in Joe’s name may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241
