My family and I would like to express our deepest sympathy over the loss of Sean.
May you find comfort in your loving memories and the warmth of family and friends. A scripture that has uplifted many who have experienced such a loss, is found at Revelation 21:4. There it describes a time when death and pain will be gone forever. We will even see our loved ones again who we have lost in death (John 5:28 & 29). It is our hope that these words bring you a measure of comfort during this difficult time as well. Once again, please accept our condolences as you deal with your loss.

We know that there are no words that can heal your grief at this time. But know that we are thinking about you and sending love and blessings. The one thing that we know is that those we love don't go away, they only go before us. The do walk beside us every day, maybe not always seen and heard but close and loved. Please remember that all of heaven rejoices as Sean comes home to finally heal and celebrate his life in eternal heaven.
Love and Angels,
Wayne and Nancy

My brother Sean's legacy won't be the careers he saved for his 100's of clients, the contracts he negotiated for his Unions, nor the $100,000's he spent on every possible recreational vehicle and equipment. From boating, to jet skiing, to snowboarding and snowmobiling, his children got to try them all. Countless recreational dealers in NH could almost retire on what Sean spent in his relentless pursuit of family activities.
Sean's legacy will always be the family he nurtured and the one he and his wife Robin, created.
For the last 30 years, Sean was the glue that held his first family together. Whether it was his younger sister moving all over the world with her military family, his older sister traveling the world as a USAF Contracting Specialist, his prodigal brother doing whatever he was doing or the untimely death of our Mother or painful loss of our father, Sean held us together and never let us forget we were family, family trumped all and we’d survive together.
Over the past 30 years, he and his wonderful wife Robin, created their own family to be proud of. Where and how he learned how to do it, will always escape me.
From humble beginnings in a tiny apartment in Acton, Sean and Robin raised a family endowed with the values, traditions and innocence we grew up with in the 60's. With the sense of independence and awareness of the 70's and 80's, the success driven lessons of the 90's and ready to face the fast moving, new world of the 21st Century.
As I've often told my daughter, my sole role in life is to teach her to be a decent person and take care of herself. Sean and Robin accomplished that goal, 3 times over. Ryan, Kara and Brendan will be eternally grateful for the Dad who taught them to take care of themselves and be decent, honest, accomplished individuals. Reagan, Liam and Kara's baby girl joining us next year, will be forever grateful for the values Sean instilled in their parents and the example he set for all of us.
We will surely miss Sean every day, for the rest of our lives. His indomitable spirit and his legacy of decency, honesty and respect, will live on forever in our hearts and in the eyes of his wife, children, grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
You were the best Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Grandfather and Uncle (& attorney), anyone could have wished for. Godspeed on your new journey Sean, please lease keep watching over us and we’ll forever treasure you in our hearts.

Sean Lafferty was a superb attorney, but he was a better man. His family was first and he lived for them. I was lucky to call Sean my friend after becoming one of his clients, IAFF Local 143 Everett Firefighters Union. Our Members, and Our Families, have benefited greatly because of Sean's great work over decades, along with his Father William Lafferty. The Everett Firefighters are better today because of Sean Lafferty! On Behalf of the entire Membership (IAFF Local 143 Everett Firefighters), We send our Deepest Condolences to Sean's Wife and their Children, along with his entire family! May Sean Lafferty Rest in Peace!
Sincerely,
Craig Hardy
President

I was so sad to hear about your husband and dad passing away. Sean was a good friend of mine for over twenty years. I had coffee with him a few days before Thanksgiving when he was on his way to Florida. We talked about old times and the cases he fought for our union. He always talked about his wife and kids and how proud he was of them. I will really miss him he was a great lawyer but more of a great friend. I will always remember him and his dad Bill.

Brynn and I love you all so, so much. Robin, Ry, Kara and Bren - he is forever with you and will never stop taking care of you. He can't wait to see that babe, and loves Reagan and Liam like nothing else. Some of the biggest smiles I've ever seen have been watching him with all of you. I'll never not have those pictures in my head, and I know you won't either. He is a fantastic man, and Brynn and I are so blessed to be a part of all of your lives. We love you, and couldn't possibly be more sorry for all of your loss.
