Obituary of Mary Christine Bosak

Mary Christine (Cox) Bosak, a longtime resident of Burlington, who recently retired to South Yarmouth, passed away at her home on Tuesday morning, March 20, 2007, after a short illness. She was 60 years old. Christine was born in Boston on May 24, 1946, the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (O’Connor) Cox. Christine is the wife of the late Edwin J. Bosak. Christine was a graduate of the Academy of Notre Dame, Chandler School for Women, and in 1990 she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Salem State College with a BS in Business Education. For the last 16 years, Christine worked as a Business Education Teacher at Bedford High School. She had just retired in June of 2006. Christine was a kind and loving person who always extended herself to those in need. She loved working with children and being a teacher. She enjoyed visiting nursing homes as she touched so many patients with her therapy dog, Oreo. She always put others needs before her own. But most of all, she loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Christine is the beloved wife of the late Edwin. She is he loving mother of Patricia Bosak of Burlington and Edward & his wife Stephanie (Miano) Bosak of Andover. She is the devoted grandmother of Madison Bosak. She is the sister of Patricia (Cox) Lucas and her husband David Lucas of Strafford, NH. She is the Aunt of David Lucas of FL and Sean Lucas of HI. She also leaves a loving companion, William Harrington of South Yarmouth. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn Street, BURLINGTON (exit 34 off Rt. 128) on Friday, March 23 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 p.m. Interment in Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington.
