Keeping you in my good thoughts and prayers family. Miss you, love you. Aunt Pat I have so many wonderful memories of. Am thinking of the time she visited me in Juneau with Mim. It was my 40th birthday and Mim gave me an "experience" present of a floatplane ride over Glacier Bay. And I wanted the three of us to go together. Pat was like "Oh no, you aren't getting me on one of those little flimsy planes!!" I said, "Aw come on, it's safer than driving in your car!" Their track record for safety was much better than driving around town, not to mention Massachusetts drivers in particular. She finally said, "OK but I'm going to need a couple of drinks to do it." So off to our little airport we went, stopping in the airport bar to fuel our courage with cocktails before boarding the floatplane for by now we girls were on a daredevil adventure. It was a beautiful sunny day and ad we listed off we could see better the lay of the gorgeous Southeast Alaska landscape. Wending our way to Glacier Bay we saw lots of wildlife on the ground, the fabulous terrain of the glaciers, the Inside Passage waterways and islands. We were up in the air for an hour and Pat remarked now how she felt better in the small plane than in the big plane, "like being in my own car." By the time we landed back in Juneau, we were all quite pleased with how brave we all were and well rewarded to have seen that gorgeous country. I loved that Pat was persuaded to step outside of her comfort zone and took up the dare to come out and play with us. We made some great memories together. And I miss her something fierce. You've got your own wings now, Patty-O! Love and hugs to you all Steve, Karen, Tricia, Rick, Kaitlin, Rachel, Brittany, Ryan and Kelsey.

Dear Auntie, you were such a "rock"...so strong, so stoic, all the way to the finish line. We can only imagine the welcoming party that awaited you and how happy you must be looking down on us. Your engaging, loving presence will be sorely missed by all. We love you Auntie!!!!

Dear Steven, Karen, and Tricia - I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I always had great admiration for her, and recall her as being one of the well-loved moms in our neighborhood when we were growing up. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
