Hey Dad...You died almost a year ago and I miss you so much. I was just listening to your record and remembering how proud I was of you when you would sing in COB and other churches in the area. You were such an example to my boys as well when we would visit you at the VA. I am glad they all had the opportunity to know you. We all rejoice that you are with the Lord "inside those pearly gates" and enjoying the fellowship with Nana, Carol, John and all your old friends at COB. Not sure if this link even works anymore but the Lord knows I wrote it and I look forward to the day that I get to see you in the air with the Lord!
Love,
Robby

We can only imagine the beautiful harmony occurring in Heaven right now! George is with His Saviour and singing His praises. What a blessing George and your family have been in our lives. We are saddened by the loss of a fine man, but also rejoice with you that He is now WITH the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints." To the Gaudet Family,
I am greatly saddened by the passing of Mr. Gaudet. He was a very inspirational man. He always had such great faith in the face of such adversity. To him his body was his castle, the temple of Christ. He always did as much as he could for himself every day and never had anything negative to say about anything or anyone. His life reminds me of the story of JOB from the bible. Throughout all the tumultuous times in his life his faith never rattled.
He had such a wonderful singing voice right up until the end. Every morning after he had breakfast he used to sing such beautiful songs. I will miss him!
I know that I did not get to meet many of you since I worked the overnight shift, however Mr. Gaudet and I used to have long conversations during the night. I want to take this time to thank you for allowing us at the VA on unit 4A to care for your husband, father and grandfather. He was such a blessing to us. I am so very thankful to have known him.
In God's Grace,
Irene Hedlund RN unit 4A

Dear Joan & Family.
What a priviledge it was in my formative years at C.O.B. to have know George, a true man of God. Remembering him at the Fishers of Men dinners, singing in the choir, and singing with John Pais will last forever. Seeing how you both raised your family and conducted your lives was a great example to me.
May you find comfort in knowing that he is with our Lord and no longer in any pain and one day we will see him again.
May God's comfort and peace be with you as you walk through this valley.
In God's Love
"Kenny"

I'm very thankful and feel privileged to have known him. He was true to his Lord and showed it time and time again before and during his many years of suffering. A true Testimony of a Child of God. His memory will live on in the lives of all who knew him. He is truely a man to look up to and a example of what a Christian should be. He loved his Lord and made sure anyone he met knew that. Praying for his family! Love you all.

Mr. Gaudet was an AMAZING man and I have wonderful memories of him. This obituary does not include the way that he touched all of our lives! His example and Christian testimony was an inspiration to so many. His love for the Lord Jesus Christ was evident in his life. Although he will be GREATLY missed on this earth, he is rejoicing with his Savior right now and we all look forward to seeing him again when we join him in our eternal home!
