So saddened by this news. I used to see Cindy around Town and we would always exchange a friendly word or two. I most recently had spoken with her outside of Barnes and Noble. I knew from her work at Marshall Simonds Middle School. A good soul. She will be thought of fondly and missed.

It was such an honor and a distinct pleasure getting to know Cindy. We first met in 1974 when I entered BHS as a Junior. I was new to the community and Cindy and I were in Mr. Yore's Modern American Literature I course together. We formed an immediate friendship and have kept in touch throughout the years. Cindy has numerous gifts one of which is listening attentively to the needs in others. She continued to radiate such an incredible aura / spirit of peace and contentment. So glad we got together this past November at you most favorite café, Barnes & Noble.

I knew Cindy for many years. She was a warm and wonderful person, always smiling. Her ability to help her students was outstanding. As a fellow teacher, I know the stresses and strains of this profession. Her joy was an example to all of us. Rest in Peace, Cindy.

Mrs. Dubois, I am so sorry to hear of your losses of Cindy and also your husband. I had not heard about Cindy's Dad until now. My husband, Ken, enjoyed so much working with Cindy over the years and we still kept in touch with her after he retired. We had just been out to lunch with her just before school started this year. Ken passed away this past February. My love and prayers are with you.
