I not only grew up with “Tony”, but also we were next door neighbors on River Street in Waltham. The Tony I remember was very muscular and strong; a gentle giant. Tony played fullback on some good Waltham High School teams.
Rest in peace Tony.

To the family of Marine Tony Buscemi
The members of the Burlington Marine Corps League and all Marines extend to you our condolences and our prayers on the loss of our Brother Marine and your dear family member. Marine Buscemi was a very important part of our organization and we along with you mourn his loss. Marine Buscemi not only served his family but our beloved Marine Corps and his country. He served all with Distinction and Honor. He was by all standards one of the Few and the Proud. As Commandant of the Burlington Marine Corps League, I in particular know full well the commitment and dedication that Tony exhibited and will be forever grateful to have known him and served alongside him. Tony has fulfilled all the mantras of our beloved Marine Corps and he has now taken his place alongside all Marines who have gone before him and who now await all of us at the gates of Heaven.
Tony will never be forgotten and will always be held in high esteem for the things he did on this Earth but he now has been called to serve a greater good up above. We, as Marines, look forward to that day when once again we will be seated at a table enjoying his presence. God be with you and comfort you thru these mournful days.

My condolences to the family. It was saddening to read about the passing of Anthony. Death is a very devastating experience. It seems at times unbearable. At Psalm 55:22 God's word tells us "Throw your burden on God and he will sustain you..." May these words bring comfort. Reflect on all the wonderful memories you've made together. My thoughts are with you and the family.
