I am so sorry to hear of Regina's passing. She and my mom Phyllis were great friends, and she was wonderful to me as a kid. I remember going to her home with all the animals, and how I marveled to see them. One of my favorite memories is when she came over to Mom's with a whole supply of Studio Girl cosmetics and gave me a bunch to play with. Note to self: white eyeshadow is not a good look on me. How everyone laughed! I loved to visit the Town Hall and a highlight was always getting to say hello to Mrs. Short. She was a vivid light, full of love and laughter, and I am privileged to have known her.
