Condolences to the Short family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your whole family. Psalms 147:3 says God, "heals the broken hearted, and binds up their wounds." May God bring you comfort and peace.

Our Sympathy in the loss of your Mother. My late Mother Marjorie Van buskirk was her friend from the senior center. My Mom always looked forward to hanging out with Regina she made my Mom feel very special. My husband Gary and I only met her a few times but she always made us smile. WE did talk often to her on the phone when she called to chat or check on my Mom. Regina loved to get my husband on the phone his nick name for her was " Hot Stuff". It made her giggle and laugh and she would always say "could not be better if I was a twin". and though words fall short at a time like this may it help bring you comfort knowing that a part of her lives on in your hearts. I am so sorry to hear of Regina's passing. She and my mom Phyllis were great friends, and she was wonderful to me as a kid. I remember going to her home with all the animals, and how I marveled to see them. One of my favorite memories is when she came over to Mom's with a whole supply of Studio Girl cosmetics and gave me a bunch to play with. Note to self: white eyeshadow is not a good look on me. How everyone laughed! I loved to visit the Town Hall and a highlight was always getting to say hello to Mrs. Short. She was a vivid light, full of love and laughter, and I am privileged to have known her.

Growing up I never got to see you much, but the times that we were together I will never forget, from playing rummy to you signing Has Anybody Seen My Gal? I hope more then anything you are happy and at peace.
Love and miss you

Regina was a sweetheart and attended Bingo at the senior center for decades. She was a survivor but always had a cheerful disposition and each week when I asked how she was told me "I couldn't be better if I was twins". When I think of Regina, I think of that phrase. We miss her at the senior center and will continue to miss her for a long time to come. My sympathies to all of you, heaven is a more cheerful place today even as earth has lost an angel.
Regards,
Marge McDonald
