Louise, Neal,Eddie, Phyllis,Jeannie,Freddie and Louis... My deepest condolences to you all and your families. I was saddened to hear of your dear sister Patti's passing. I hardly knew her but know in my heart that she was a wonderful and loving woman.I also know that by the way my Mother and Father, Laurie and Dottie, felt about all the Linden Scibelii's and the way my Mom talked about all the laughs and reminiscing during a recent visit to Marco Island to see Lulu. With condolences. May Patti Rest in Peace.

Fred,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My brother passed away in 2006 from Lymphoma....he was 46 and to this day I still think of him They say love beyond the world cannot be separated by death and I find that to be so true!
Please know that although no words can really help to erase the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer.
Always your friend!
Candace

I was blessed to get to work with Pat in the office at the Brookside. She was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor. I loved working with her and we had a lot of laughs. She was such a kind, caring person to everyone and was always willing to lend a hand. She fought a long, hard battle without complaint. Her perseverance was amazing. I am better for having known her.

Patty was one of eight. Four girls in a bedroom, four boys in the other. Patty was a little different from the rest of us. She was the only lefty, and the only one of us who likes cats. She liked listening to Michael Jackson and Prince. As far as i know the rest of us were no fans of those guys. She loved to dance, the rest of us, not so much. She was so proud of her baked haddock on Christmas Eve. She would grab me and say "Freddie did you like the haddock?" I would say yes Patty, it is the best dish out there. She worked two jobs her whole life, taking care of her family. She did not waste money on herself. She would visit our sister jeanie's and say "Jeanie, did you read those Star magazines yet?" Jeanie would say yes, take them. I do not think Jeanie read one of those magazines, but would buy them, throw them around the table like she had, then let Patty take them home.
Like I said, Patty was different from us. Nothing bothered her. She did not care about politics, she was kind and had the biggest heart. She loved caring for kids that needed it. (24) years ago, Patty was caring for a little girl. (10) years old and severly challenged. The girls mother had (6) children with (6) different guys. When the van pulled up in the morning, the driver would take out the wheel chair. Patty told me she saw cockroaches drop from chair. Patty bought the little girl clothes and would change her into clean clothes every day.One weekend, the mother put her daughter in the bathtub, left the room, and the poor little girl drowned? Patty got sick, with neumonia. Patty could not breath. Her lungs were filled and the doctor was we'll try this and we'll try that. Sister Lulu was having none of it, moved her to another hospital, had emergency surgery and saved Patty. When I asked about that mother, Patty just shook her head and said "I don't know"
I saw how tough she was in her last week. Sisters Phylis, Jeanie, and Lulu (Drita) slept on a blow up matress on the floor in Patty's room. They talked and laughed a little. Patty stayed strong till the end. Witty dry humor, and that beautiful smile.
Those Scibelli girls had a bond that could never be broken. It had to be all those years in those bunk beds.

Sara, Mike and I want to send you our deepest sympathies for the loss of your mom. The words written about her says what a nice woman she was. But the proof is the beautiful daughter she raised. Your mom will always be watching you with pride I'm sure. Much love to you.
