Obituary of Patricia R. Pullano

Patricia R. Pullano passed away at her home on September 17 surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. The beloved wife of Robert Pullano, she was 65 years old. Patty was born and raised in Malden. She was one of 8 children born to the late Neil and Felicia Scibelli. Growing up in a large family, Patty had a very close relationship with all of her brothers and sisters. She was a graduate of Mass Bay Community College and also attended Boston State. Patty was blessed to have been married to Bob for 44 years after marrying in 1972. They lived in Malden but eventually settled in Burlington. Patty has always loved children and was a devoted mother to Michael and Sara. She raised them lovingly and proudly watched them grow into adulthood. Her love for children led Patty to Dracut Public Schools where she was a member of their faculty where she worked for over 20 years. She touched many children's lives and made lifelong friendships there as well. Besides school, Patty enjoyed waitressing as a side job at the 99 Restaurant in Wilmington. She loved all of her friends there as well. Patty was the beloved wife of Robert Pullano. She was the loving mother of Michael and Sara Pullano, both of Burlington. Sister of Louise Sheridan of Wakefield, Neil Scibelli of Lynn, Eddie Scibelli of Revere, Freddie Scibelli of Malden, Louie Scibelli of Malden, Phyllis Zampitella of Peabody, and Jean Tammaro of Malden. Sister-in-law of Carol Donovan of Billerica and Peter Pullano of Palm Bay, Florida. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn Street, BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off rt. 128, Woburn side) on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 9 a.m. Followed by a mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret's Church, 111 Winn St, Burlington at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Tuesday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be private.
