My John, my soulmate, my best friend, my partner in crime, my penguin, my rockstar. Together, as you would say we were a "power couple". From that 1st night at Kowloon we were inseparable. Your brother knew what he was doing when he pulled me aside and said "I think my brother really likes you". I never imagined that the next 4 yrs of my life were going to be the most adventurous, amazing, loving years of my life. We did more in 4yrs then some people do in a life time. From Miami to OOB. Hot tubs in the snow. Concerts, casinos, boat cruises, nights in Boston. Romantic dinners and getaways. The amazing parties we threw like Octoberfest and St Patricks day, singing Karaoke like rockstars. I will always remember how nervous I was when you convinced me it was time to join the Krazy Couples bowling league. We had bowled for fun every friday but I was a hot mess thinking about competing. I never wanted to disappoint you and wanted to be just as good as you. You gave me such pep talks and laughed when I told you my arms felt like rubber driving to Metro. In time the nerves went away all because of your amazing support. We would wake up on Saturdays and study the league averages for hours like it was the most important thing in life. I learned what fantasy football was all about. I hated it at times because it took time away from us but loved watching how passionate you were about it. We would play the name game on Tuesday night if you were stuck between who to bench and who to play. I would come up with some crazy reason to bench someone "like their name is just dumb". And you laughed at my reasoning, but sometimes it actually worked out. Softball was another great part of our life. Staying up until 1am making 130 cookies for the team. Getting hassled if I didn't make them. Watching you run the bases like a clydesdale horse. The biggest stride I ever saw. I thought you would run right through the fence because you would run so hard. Your cat like reflexes when those balls would come right at you like a missile. Tiles making fun of me because I would jump out of my chair like a high schooler and scream "thats my boyfriend". I will cherish my team mom shirt. The things you taught me about myself in the past 4 yrs will stay with me forever. Anytime I doubted if I was doing a good job with Louie & Antonio you would assure me that I was a great mom because they were so respectful and kind boys. It drove you crazy that they were not into sports but you did a good job to at least teach them about hockey & football. We never got to a Bruins game but we will go in your honor this season. I thank you John because I never had someone in my life that made me feel as beautiful as Marilyn Monroe and as sexy as Sophia Vergara. I will cherish every moment we spent together. My kids and I will love you forever and never ever forget you. Love you always with my entire heart. RIP my handsome man. Enjoy the other side with Mike, Brandy, Lily and your Uncle Steve. Save some fun for the rest of us!

Our prayers and condolences to the Rezendes family and Kristen. I will miss John's sense of humor and positive attitude. He brought excitement and energy to any event, whether it be a birthday party or a bowling match !!!! If I was in the "hockey town" parking lot, or at a fantasy football draft, and someone said, "Rosie's here !!" it would brighten up the day for everyone !!! I believe in Heaven. and I have a feeling there's been about 1000 strings of bowling with Mike this week,up there !!! probably a couple cold beverages, some fantasy football debates, and maybee even a wrestling match or 2 ??? MISS AND LOVE YOU GUYS !!!!!! -Pete1

To the Rezendes family and Kristen,
I'm deeply sorry for your loss. I've only known Rosey for a couple of years from the Elks bowling league, but he made a lasting impression. I'll never forget how friendly and encouraging he was, his crazy sense of humor and his competitive spirit. I'll truly miss seeing him and his warm smile. Rest in peace, Rosey.
