My most sincere condolences to Nancy, and all of the family. Paul was a just a great guy, and will be missed by everyone.
I met Paul, or " Hugger " as we used to call him about 40 + or so years ago, we got to know each other riding motorcycles and camping together. He would drop into my dad's auto parts store in Winchester back then, frequently for things and often just to say hello. I seem to recall my early introductions came as he was close to my cousin Sally ( who passed very recently ) and her husband Link, they worked / lived at the Winchester hospital. That was 1975..... While we met way back then, we continued to ride together for many, many years and especially the last 10-12 years. We rode together with the other guys of our riding group, including Bob, Joe, Scott, Steve, Mike, Peter & myself and we all have heavy hearts & the pain of a great brother now gone.
Hugger loved to lead the way. We went by bikes to Magog, Sherwood, Montreal, Canada, all of New England, crossed over Lake Champlain via ferry once or twice, on the bikes, from Vermont to New York, travelled throughout New York, we went to" Woodstock " just a few years back, took some great pictures, laid in the grass, had a cold beer and reminiscence about the old days.... Hugger liked New York, took us to one of his favorites places, Lake George several times. Countless times in New Hampshire up at the border in Colebrook, Kancamagus, Maine, to Rangeley, Bentley's, Connecticut, Pa. ...... Well just about everywhere and he seemed to know every back road to everywhere. He always led the group on incredible rides. I am working abroad at this moment and cannot make it to the services, but my brothers will give a hug to the family for me......
I liked Hugger from the first time we met, We had great times together.....
