Obituary of Eunice Corbett
Eunice (Lagorio) Corbett, passed away at the Hannah B. G. Shaw Home in Middleboro on July 4, 2017. The beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Corbett, she was 93 years old.
Eunice was born and raised in Boston. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Ella Lagorio. After their marriage Eunice and Tom lived in Charlestown before setting in Burlington where they would raise their three children. Eunice worked for the original Microwave Associates in Burlington which later became Macom. She worked there for 32 years and retired as a Supervisor. Eunice lived a very full and active life. She was involved in the 4 H Club in Burlington. She was a member of the Old Charlestown Schoolgirls Association and served as its President from 2005 – 2006. Eunice also enjoyed rug braiding with her daughter Nancy as well as cake decorating and working in her yard. Eunice, Tom and their family also enjoyed traveling and family vacations. Eunice was blessed to have five grandsons and see the birth of her three great grandchildren Gwendolyn, Jack & Christian.
Eunice was the beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Corbett. She was the loving mother of Nancy Hanson & her husband Eric of Middleboro, Thomas Corbett & his wife Carol of Billerica and the late Joseph Corbett. Proud grandmother of Jason Hanson, Keith Hanson & his wife Ashley, Anthony Corbett & his wife Christine, Philip Corbett and Brian Corbett & his wife Kerry. Great grandmother of Gwendolyn, Jack & Christian. Sister of the late Frank Lagorio, Rosalind Geagan & Mildred Modica. Also survived by many nieces.
Funeral Services will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128/95 Woburn side) on Saturday, July 8 at Noon. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 10:30 – Noon. Memorials in Eunice’s name may be made to Hannah B. G. Shaw Home, Activities Fund, 299 Wareham St., Middleboro, MA 02346. Interment in Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington.
