Dear Barbara, Bonnie, Billy and Virginia,
I want you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I am so happy that I was able to visit with Bill at Lahey and the Bedford VA last Thursday and I know that he was aware of everything that we were saying to him.
When Harry and I moved to Burlington in 1967 I noticed an article in the paper looking for former Marines to join the Marine Corp
League and that started our long friendship of 50 years.
We shared so many wonderful times together along with many other league members that we met.
Bill was always a special and supportive friend to many.
Some people come into our life and are quickly gone.
Some people come into our life, leave footprints on our hearts.
And we are never ever the same.
I am sure that Bill left many footprints on many hearts and we will never be the same.
