Sad to see Fred has passed. My father would drive to his station on Woodward in Royal Oak and always received expert mechanical service and a great visit too. I was a youngster at the time but remember the gas station. The world would be a better place with more like Fred. Rest easy Mr. Born.

Although we didn't see Fred and Anna as often as we used to, it was always a pleasure when we did see them. Fred was one of the most laid back people I knew...nothing ever seemed to bother him. He had a great sense of humor and could take teasing as well as give it. He will definitely be missed.
