It's ironic that you can go a few days with out talking to someone and not miss them, and the day they're gone you feel like you've been missing them forever. I'm so glad for the past year with you Dad! I wish we had more time. But your suffering is over, and you're at peace now with Papa. See you on the other side. Keep the boat running. I love you!

Michael was always the life of the party. I always looked forward to our annual family Christmas Eve party every year where Michael would be cracking jokes, drinking a beer and constantly laughing. He will be missed but his spirit will never be taken from us. We will always love you Uncle Michael!

Dad, I will miss you so much. I am typing and erasing. There are so many things I would love to say but just know this, I love you and know in my heart you will always be with us. I am already looking for you, in signs around me, and I know you are here. One of my earliest and most fondest memories of you is when I was just a tiny little girl, sitting on your lap with my head resting on your chest and the gentle rocking of your breathes moving me back and forth. I loved that moment. Your last breathes were taken way too soon. Rest easy, Old Man. We loved every moment we had with you and I will always cherish the time we spent together in Maine this past summer, with you poking at that fire for like 5 days straight, hahaha. My Master Fire Maker!! Say Hi to Papa for me and I hope you guys get to smoke lots of butts together. XOXOXO

Michael Was a true friend of mine. We lived in the same neighborhood since Jr. High. When I returned to Burlington we reconnected at American Legion. 3 years ago I walked out of detox. Mike was with me almost everyday for support and a heavy boot in case I even thought of relapsing. You will be deeply missed ol' buddy.
