Although I only met Joan about 5 years ago, she instantly became a favorite of mine as we always took the time to visit and chat at a sporting event. I loved our chats and always looked forward to seeing her...she was definitely one special lady...and I will sorely miss running into her.

Saddened to hear of my Godmother Joan’s passing. My memories of her and the joyful laughter and genuine caring for all will always remain With me. I can still see her bounding out of the house to greet us when we pulled up in Carols convertible to visit her. Condolences to the entire family during this difficult time. She will be in our hearts and memory always.

Words cannot express how difficult it has been to say goodbye to my sister Joan. Many miles separated us physically but our hearts were one and we hared so many special times and memories. Lisa and the children are her legacy and her loving example of selflessness and devotion to her family will live on forever. Our hearts will be with our family as they celebrate her life and the great joy she brought to all who knew her.
Prayers

OUR HEARTS ARE HEAVY AS WE SAY FAREWELL TO THIS VERY SPECIAL LADY. FOR OVER 40 YEARS, SHE SHARED HER SISTER TERRY AND HER HUSBAND JOHN WITH US HERE IN THE SOUTHWEST. HER LOVE AND KINDNESS WERE EVIDENT IN EVERY PHONE CONVERSATION AND HER GRACIOUS HOSPITALITY WHEN VISITING IN BURLINGTON IS A PRICELESS MEMORY. WE ARE BLESSED TO HAVE KNOWN HER AND SEND OUR PRAYERS TO HELP LIFT THE BURDEN OF YOUR LOSS.
