March 2023: Dearest Carla, We thought of you this past week. It has been 5 years. You suffered through your illness and died much too young. It is so unfair. It has been comforting to know that your pain is gone and you have been happily reunited with your father/my brother, your mother and other loved ones. Continue to rest in peace.
