Mom,
It has taken me way too long to tell you how much I miss you and I think of you every day. You were an amazing woman and so strong. I hope you know I made it to see you that day. That was very important that you knew I wanted to say goodbye. With the passing of John, Herbert and Cookie's son, I realize how fragile life really is. Miss you and love you always.
