Peter and family, I am with all of you in my heart. I truly wish I could be there with you to honor jean, rather than at this conference in California. I knew and loved jean for many years, knew you, the kids and grand kids through her stories, but over the past months, I was privileged to be a part of Jean's extended family. The love and care that you and all your family gave Jean was inspirational. I know how much she loved you all, and I hope you find peace in knowing how you made her life and passing one of love and peace. My heart and thoughts are with all of you. Love,Beth

I just dont know where to begin. I have thought and thought about what to write. Mr.O, Brian, Kelley and Keri, Words cannot express how sad I am that your mom is no longer with us. She was so special to me. There are so many wonderful memories. I was her "Little Italian Friend" and she kindly welcomed me with loving open arms. I enjoyed every minute I spent with her. My favorite was when we went to visit her during the middle of a school day at Lahey. She was always be so surprised as to 1) why we wern't in school and 2) how we got to Lahey because neither Keri nor I had our license. She always knew we were up to something and her contagious smile screamed "you are in so much trouble but all I can do is laugh with you look" always had us in stiches. Mrs. O I love you very much and I am so lucky to have had you in my life. God just welcomed an angel. I promise to make your babies smile whenever I can. xoxo Adriana

I have so many great memories of Jean and I will always keep them near and dear to my heart. She was one of the most kindest, funniest, caring people I have ever known. She cherished her family so much and whenever she spoke about any of you she had a smile on her face. We had so much fun during our Pop Warner years together, our high school years together and all the games we attended together to cheer our girls on. Pete you were always there with us cheering them on too. I know Jean is at peace now and looking down on all of you with that smile on her face. Her memory will live on through all of you and I am so happy to have known her. Loving thoughts to all of you and I will be here for all of you. xoxo

I am so sorry that Jean has passed. We had so many laughs together and I will never forget filling in her bald spot or even pulling a hair that should not have been on her face for her-something I would have not asked too many people if they would want me to pluck it!
Loved her sparkle in her eyes--always full of life and stories about friends but especially family.
The last time I saw her was before her diagnosis and she was filling in in Urology and I spotted something moving "somehow" as I walked by the windows into the new entrance for an appointment and it was her waving and jumping up and down in the window and we thru kisses at each other and waved until we no longer could see each other. It had been years that I had seen her since transferring to 31 Mall Road. I wish now I had taken the time to go in to see her and give her a huge hug instead of throwing kisses and waving thru the window. All of you will be in my prayers!!

I want to express my deepest sympathy. Mrs. O'Toole was always there for me growing up. She welcomed me in her home like I was one of her own. When Keri was not around, I would still go over just to sit in talk with her in the kitchen. She always was so generous to me and always gave me insight into life that was sometimes hard to hear as a teenager but she was always right.
She was part of my childhood and an important role model to me growing up. She taught me what it was to give without ever asking for anything in return.
I remember her and my Dad laughing and joking all the time. They had this kindred spirit relationship. They were very similar, always on the go, always happy and always wanting the best for their kids.
To the entire family, she continues to want the best for you all from a different place. She will watch over you and guide you in everything to come.

I am so sorry Peter to hear of Jean's passing. I didn't even realize she was sick. She trained me and we shared a cubicle for almost a year in Internal Medicine when it merged with the Walk-in Clinic many years ago. It was a small space for the two of us and we had many a laugh over it, especially when we both tried to push ours chairs back to get up at the same time. She was a wonderful person and great mentor/friend,I remember coming to your house one day after helping her with her grocery shopping during the holidays and she had me sign a Christmas Ball Ornament, she said that she had everyone who passed thru her doors sign one so that she could remember all her friends and family. I will never forget her and she will be greatly missed by all her friends here at Lahey Clinic.

What can you possibly say about a woman who brightened a room simply by walking into it?
Jean and I shared an office for many years in GIM and I cherish all the wonderful memories I have. One I cherish the most was having Jean hold my hand at work, waiting for my husband to get there, to take me to Winchester Hospital to deliver our first son. She was my rock of Gilbraltar!
Pete, all anyone had to do was look at the two of you, and they would not only know, but see with their eyes, the true definition of love.
I pray for all of you during this very difficult time, I know how hard it is. I hope you all do get some comfort knowing she is now with God in His Heaven, and it is now a much brighter place for her being there.

Mr. O, Keri, Kelley and Brian,
I don't even know where to begin. Mrs. O was like a second mother to me growing up. I have the best memories of her! Pop Warner, Hampton Beach, shopping, her driving us around in the infamous "Wally Wagon" belting out her favorite Patsy Cline tunes with Keri and I begging to turn it off and then giving in and singing along with her!!! We had so many laughs over the years it's hard to imagine life without her contagious laughter.. I am going to miss her so much!
I can remember Keri and I bribing her and my mom to let us have "sleepovers" on School nights and Jeanie was always the first one to give into us and say yes!! Decorating Christmas ornaments every year, I would end up using foul language (surprise surprise) when I would mess one up and Mrs O yelling "Clemmy" cut it out or I am gonna tell your mother!! Hahaha The list goes on and on... She was the best and I will never forget all of the good times I had with her and the whole family over the years!
She loved her children and her grand children so much you could see how much joy it brought her to be the best Nana to all of them! She will always be in their hearts and her memory will be kept alive through them!
Rest in Peace Mrs. O. you were and are truly and Angel!
