Obituary of Anne Patterson
Anne C. Queen-Patterson passed away at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington on Wednesday night, January 13, 2010. She was 63 years old. Anne was born in Woburn, the daughter of the late William and Josephine Queen. Her family moved to the Winnmere section of Burlington when she was 6 years old. She grew up and was educated in Burlington. She was best known for her talent as an artist. She was a gifted painter and interior designer. She was a seamstress, floral designer and jewelry maker. She had her own business as a bridal consultant – Queen Ann Crafts. Anne was a woman of faith and believed that her prayers helped her to overcome previous illnesses. She was a member of the Share Program at St. Patrick’s Church in Stoneham and a long time parishioner at St. Margaret’s Church in Burlington.
Anne was the beloved mother of Maryellen (McLeod) Miranda & her husband John of N. Andover and Peter M. DeMaggio of Milford, NH. Loving grandmother of Melonie Walsh, Peter and Madison DeMaggio. Sister of Joseph, William, & Richard Queen all of Woburn, Donna and George Queen of Burlington, and the late Mary Essigmann, Dorothy LaTulippe, and Joyce Queen.
Funeral Services will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Saturday, January 16 at 3 p.m. Visiting hours Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited.
