Dear Barbara, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I still remember your mom being a wonderful substitute teacher when we were at Fox Hill in the 60's, and I know you brought her great joy. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Barbara,
I'm so sorry about mom's passing. I know this has been a difficult year, but your mom was so sweet. She was so proud of you and was always so happy after a visit.
Mom will be missed very much. Please take care of yourself.

Barbara, I feel so sad about the passing of your mom. I can still see her, standing on her front porch as I drove into your parents' driveway Summer 2006 with her brother "Buddy" and Roey in tow. She was all smiles and looked awesome! I treasured all the Shelvey stories, as I sat at her kitchen table and drank cup after cup of coffee with her. She was so sweet and kind and such an angel. I know it sounds so trite to say that she is with George, and Mary and Frank, Margaret, Buddy, Ed and Billy, and all of her other loved ones, but she is indeed surrounded by love and peace. You made her very happy and she was so proud of you.
Much love to you, and to all my cousins who also loved Aunt Anna.

Barbara,
I hope you know how much I loved your mother. She and Mary were my aunts, but much more. They were my friends, traveling companions, mother figures, in-roads to the family history I would never had know and most of all really good an loving women who helped me through many of life's crisis. I was blessed to have them in my life.
She is at peace and with her Georgie and all of the Shelveys.
We will all miss that fun-loving dancing queen "Anna Baby".
