I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Ellie Bonfanti. Having four children, three at the Melrose/Wakefield Hospital, I will always remember her kind & gentle manner helping all of us new & veteran "Moms" getting through our labor and deliveries !!!! Her patience along with a cool calm voice and a sense of humor helped many of us get through a long rough labor that resulted in the most beautiful gift of all, a new precious baby !!! She was a very special lady, that we will always remember. My thoughts & prayers are with you during this sad difficult time. Take care, Susan White, Stoneham, Ma.

Hi Janice,
I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Ellie was such a nice lady and we enjoyed talking with each other whenever the time allowed.
Do you remember the good ole days with us at St. Joseph's and times around my backyard pool with Tricia and your other friends? I still do and they were very happy times.
I am sorry I could not attend the wake, now that I am no longer able to walk on my own. But, please know I would have wanted to.
Billy also sends his best regards and condolences to you and your family.
I will say a prayer for you and Ellie.
Love,
Maurie A. Haver

Thank you, Aunt Ellie, for all the love, kindness, and caring you shared with us. You were such an amazing, wonderful woman. You were our favorite aunt and we let everyone know about you! Your ability to have fun at family get-togethers was infectious! We'd laugh, sing, dance, whatever, and you'd be right there, having a great time!
Meredith called you the matriarch of our family. You surely were that...and more! You made milestone celebrations more special with your presence and sad occasions less painful with your support. Your unconditional love meant the world to us. We love you so much, Aunt Ellie, and are so grateful to have had you in our lives.

Aunt Ellie was the best! She will truly be missed by all of us. What are we going to do without her dancing?!
