Hello dear friends Ed and Linda! We just found out about mrs. Patz. We have not pulled up Olvier's email in a few days and just missed it. We hope the family is doing as well as possible. She really lived a full life up in Mass. And it sounded as if she was still busy with things in her life that she loved so much! Our love you you Ed and Linda and family and we love you very much! Gerry, you were more to me than an Aunt - like a mother. Who else would have taught me how to be a shopaholic: Filene's Basement, Buiding 19, and to play Rummykub, etc. Thank you for blessing my life. I'll cherish your memory forever. As we talked last week, you said that as your time was coming closer you were missing Uncle Eddie, Nana, Margie and Toy.... Hug them for me. You chose the place, surrounded by all your children. You are with God now. I'll always love you.

Ed, Fran, Beth and Garry our thoughts and prayers are with you during this sensitive time. Aunt Gerry’s passing brought back my childhood memories of Sunday dinners and fun times for our families before my family moved to California. I thank God for those memories. I am also grateful for a visit Jane and I had with Aunt Gerry in Florida a couple of years ago. She introduced us to the best New England seafood at one of her favorite restaurants in Melbourne. She also made sure that we had an opportunity to tour her recreational shopping areas there. The last time we were with Aunt Gerry was when she visited her sister, my Mom, in Arizona last year. We spent one evening looking at family pictures on a Digital Photo Frame that her children had composed for her. Aunt Gerry was so proud as she told us about everyone in each of the photos, full of family remembrances. The warmth of this last visit for the sisters was truly extraordinary. We were so lucky to have had Aunt Gerry in our lives. Jane and Jim Ferris San Diego, CA

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.Her quick smile and spirit of adventure had a profound effect on everyone she met. My late Aunt Harriet had fond memories of Gerry and the cruise. I am sure she is setting up a board /card game and catching up with old friends and family. She will be missed but fondly remembered.
