Brian P. Lozier, a resident of Burlington since early 80’s, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 13, 2011. The husband of Nadia (Moraes) he would have celebrated his 57 birthday on Wednesday, February 16. Brian was born in Cambridge. He was raised and educated in Watertown. He was the son of the late Philip and Margaret Lozier. Brian was a graduate of Boston College. Brian then received his Masters Degree from Bentley University. He was a Certified Public Accountant and went on to have a successful career as a Tax Manager at Thermo Fisher Corp. for over 20 years. Brian had a love of nature and the outdoors. He loved to hike and visit the mountains of Arcadia and Mt. Lafayette in the White Mountains. Brian was an avid swimmer and would swim each morning at the YMCA in Woburn. Brian had just welcomed his second grandchild last week and was looking forward to welcoming his third grandchild in April. Brian was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend that will be missed. Brian was the beloved husband of Nadia V. (Moraes). He was the loving father of Diane M. Jensen & her husband Scott of Riverside, RI and Mark Lozier & his fiancée Michelle Gannon of Groton. Brother of Ann Lozier of Hubbardston. Grandfather of Kaylie Lozier and Kara Jensen. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Thursday. Feb 17 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Malachy’s Church, 99 Bedford St., Burlington at 10 a. m. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-8 p.m. Interment Private.
