Obituary of Virginia LeVeille

Virginia “Ginny” LeVeille, a woman dedicated to her family and faith, passed away after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease on Friday night, March 11, 2011. Ginny grew up in West Medford and was a graduate of Medford High School. In February 1954, she married George LeVeille, of Everett, and in 1965, they settled in Burlington to raise their family. She supported her husband and children in their musical pursuits, and was their biggest fan. Ginny was a member of the Burlington Junior Women’s Club for many years. Reading and cooking were both passions of hers. Ginny loved traveling with her husband, George, to Hawaii for their 25th wedding anniversary, Florida to visit Ken and family, the British Isles, and on many long weekends to enjoy the foliage in and around New England. In later years, Ginny enjoyed her role as a doting nana, and was adored by her seven grandchildren. Ginny was a woman of strong Christian faith, and an active member of Mount Hope Christian Center. She was a member of the church’s prayer chain and the nursing home outreach group. Her faith gave her life meaning and purpose. Ginny was the beloved wife of 57 years of George A. LeVeille. She was the loving mother of Steven LeVeille and his wife, Diane, Linda LeVeille-Ventura of Hudson, Kenneth LeVeille of Orlando, FL, Daniel LeVeille and his wife, Julie, of Leominster, and the sister of W. James Miner of Billerica. She was the proud grandmother of Amanda and Stephanie Ventura, Spencer, Michael, Jordan, and David LeVeille, and the late Samantha LeVeille.
