We are sorry for your loss. All of us at Hogan will do our best to care for Laurie as we promised her dad. Mr. Herald was postive , upbeat and it was great to get to know him, even for a short time.

I knew George as a member of W.S.A. He was one of the most likeable guys there. Always offering a hand if you needed it. God always seems to take the good guy's first....R.I.P. My friend

i did not know george for a very long time, but for the time i did through meeting him at " sammys " i found him to be a well liked and dedicated man very pleasant and quite man who i had the pleasure of his company for less than a year, but it doesn"t take long to get to know a man of his caliber .. we all have fun at sammys in the early morning and george was a huge part of that talking about the up coming day and some of the past ,sometimes very serious and other times laughing and telling jokes and picking on each other, the group will not be the same without him, and he will be missed im sure,,,
may GOD bless him and keep him by his side im sure he will when he finds out what awesome sandwiches george makes..
my condolances go out to all his family and his friends who knew him much longer than i did , i will miss him and so will so many others GOD bless you george

My deepest sorrow for the loss of a great husband & father!
I worked with George for 35yrs at MIT. He had the coffee ready every morning at work. When I lived in Norton,MA back in the 70's, I remember your family coming for a visit. As I lived on a lake I remember spending the afternoon we got Linda up on waterski's. George also use to come to Norton so we could go hunting with Dave Holmes-plumber(mit),Al Cangeme-steamfitter-(mit) and myself-steamfitter-(mit).He will be missed by a lot of people who had the utmost respect for him.
