I am so sorry to learn of Wayne's passing. Having been away the past few years, I just heard about this news. We were childhood friends and have many great memories of growing up in Hull. I recall his infectious smile and easy laugh - a fan of wrestling in his early teens, my older brother took us to a few matches. I believe it was then the legend (as Tim Haraden mentioned) of Black Jack Mogumbo (from the isle of Samoa!) was born. Wayne was much like his entire family - giving, loving, and celebrating the spirit of life in small and large ways. I still have the post card Wayne sent from a family trip to London when we were kids.
Reading the tributes and guests memories, I know Wayne will always be in our hearts and his legacy will always be the warm feelings and memories.
God, I am so, so sad over just learning this news when I recently spoke with my family.
To Kim, Mr ad Mrs Addison, thank you for being wonderful neighbors and please accept my very belated condolences.
Sincerely,
Christina Bonisolli

I am schocked and saddened by the passing of Bruce. It's probably been 30 years since I've seen him and yet I was just last week relating a story or two about "Wayne" (as we called him back then). I had stumbled upon a picture of him on a Facebook site that displayed old pictures of Hull High sports. We've have lost a character--the world is a less happy place this week.
Even though I was a few years younger, he befriended me and I was soon accepted as someone in his group of friends. I can still remember some of the funny things he said on the way to or from football practice and the weekly poker games at his house were legendary. Some of those nights are still etched in my memory, both in Hull and the few we had up in Burlington. My "going away" party before I left for college was a card game in Burlington. I hate that we lost touch--last I heard he was out in Vegas and I no longer live in the area.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his mom and dad (two of my favorite parents from the old neighborhood) and to Kim. As I've related Wayne's passing to some of my old friends in Hull, I am surprised by how few people knew him by his given name, but rather by his alter ego, the legendary (at least in his mind) "Black Jack Mogumbo".
Rest in peace, buddy. Looking forward to the next time you get to deal me in.

While I was a patient at the LAhey Clinic, Wayne would visit me several times, and obtain supplies that would help during my recovery. My wife and I have a very fond memory of Wayne. We are both positive that God is taken good care of him now.

Bruce was quite a guy. I always enjoyed taking his shuttle because he would talk with me like we were old friends. He loved music, and knew a lot about it, which I loved talking about music with him. He also spoke of his time in Las Vegas. He was they type of guy that never said anything bad about anyone. He will be missed. In the Bible book of Job chapter 14 vs.13-15, Job asked "If a man should die, can he live again?"... "He (God) will call, and I myself shall answer."... "For the work of your hands, you (God) will have a yearning." This means God will resurrect Bruce, and he will live again. We will see Bruce again soon, the happy, wonderful guy he was will live again! Thank you Bruce, for being such a nice guy. You will definitely be missed!

My son loved everyone, and its so heartwarming to read and talk to so many people who knew him. And it is so true that he loved his job and loved making people happy (his Mom and I didnt know how much he did as he very rarely told us) and everyone is correct that he never had a bad thing to say about anyone, all his life he was just like that, if his Mom and I wanted to know any thing about anyone it was like pulling teeth, his favorite expresion (to me) was " Dad you are always telling me to live for today and tomorrow, but I want to live for today" and boy did he do just that, so many travels, so many fond memories, I feel that he cramed more in life in 48 yrs. than most people do He did so much that I can not even remember most of it, so many marvelous memories, that we will cherish forever, Thank you everyone that he touched in his lifetime, you dont know how much we are so proud of our son
Thank you all Dad

To the Addison Family,
My most sincere and deepest condolences on the loss of your son and brother. Although I will remember Bruce as a great, loyal and outstanding employee of Lahey Clinic, I will remember him more as a friend. He and I spent a lot of time togehter playing pool many years ago and I enjoyed being around him so much, even though he always beat me by a game or a point. We will all miss him so much. I know that you know that he was a great human being that would give a stranger the shirt off of his back, and for that you must be so proud of him. I know that I am very fortunate to have known him.
Sincerely,
Ed

I'll certainly miss Bruce's smile and wave as we passed each other on my way into work. Playing softball, back in the day, was always fun with Bruce and he also made the work day fun when we worked in Central Supply! He certainly knew how to enjoy his life and shared his joy with many others. God bless Bruce and his family.

Bruce was great friend with a tremendous sense of humor!
I can't even begin to think of all fun times that we had over the almost 30 years that we knew each other.
Bruce took tremendous pride in his job and it showed every holiday when he would decorate his shuttle van much to the delight of all of the Lahey Clinic patients and employees. We were inundated with compliments every holiday, and loved every one of them!
RIP buddy , you will certainly be missed.

I cant even begin to explain how much Bruce affected my life. He and I met about 10 years ago playing pool at our social club. We would play for hours and for every 15 games we played I might have won 2 or 3. When I lost my father he was there lending a hand in anything we needed. When my life was nearly takin he was at the hospital every Saturday just hanging with me. I mean he would leave his job at a hospital on a Friday then come and sit in a hospital on his day off for the day. If that doesnt tell you what type of guy he is I dont know what would. To the family of Bruce. I am so sorry for your loss. We have spoke but if there is anything we can do please give us a call. To Bruce's friends. We have lost a true friend recently. I'm sorry that the news did not reach us sooner but for all of us that knew Bruce he swore by the no cellphone rule. He will be loved and live on forever in our hearts. We Love You Bruce"Almighty". God Rest Your Soul buddy.
