My heart goes out to your family during this hard time. May you always remember the good times you shared with her. I consider myself fortunate enough to have had the pleasure of getting to know her. She was very easy to talk to and took very good care of her mother Jody Tighe before her passing. She was also a great mother who raised one of my best friends Matthew Spence, which I will always be grateful for. May you find solace in each other during this holiday season.

I am so very glad that Maureen and I got to have the conversation that we had recently. We were able to get caught up on somethings. We were old best friends from what sometimes seems like yesterday and at other times seems like an eternity ago. Despite life's twists and turns and different paths, everytime we reconnected it seemed as if we would always easily pick it up from where we last left it. I bought you a card, but didn't know what to write. This happened so quickly, it seemed. I will always have that card to remind me of you. You were Casey's godmother. She always thought the world of you. Yesterday Casey's daughter Kaiya- a mere 7 years old- said "Now mommy has somebody to play with in heaven." My heart goes out to Mark, Matt and Mikey. I am glad you are at peace, Maureen. I am going to miss you so much. I'm certain you are smiling sweetly upon your loved ones. Till we meet again... Love, Chery

David and Danielle: I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I was thinking back of Jody, Maureen and I going to Weight Watchers and then going to Bill and Bob's for something fattening and then going to Gram' s and sitting talking for hours. Those were very good memories.

I’m beyond devastated of the news of Maureen passing. I always saw her as a larger then life personality. Her infectious laugh filled the room and brought joy to all around. I remember her crazy bright orange sweater she wore every year at the Halloween parade and loving it! I even remember her pet tarantula. Maureen, you may not know it but your a huge part of my family, my mom’s best friend since grade school, my sisters godmother and so much more to us. I’ll love you forever and I’ll miss you until the end of time. Rest easy beautiful soul! Love Jamie (Chery’s Daughter)
