Condolences to Paul’s family and worked with his Dad in Barnstable School System. Met Paul many times at the Geick’s home and admired his drive and attitude. May his devoted family have sweet memories.

I have very fond memories of playing pond hockey with Paul back in the late 1970s and early 1980s. We used to play at the end of my street off of Gosnold Street. He always played goal and he was unbelievably good. My condolences to his family and all that knew him.

When I was in Savannah for Joelinda and Kyle's wedding a few years ago I saw Paul in a local store - I didn't know both he and Shirley had also come for the wedding. They were kind enough to drive me to the reception later and then back to the hotel. He will be missed.

Paul's influence on my life is impossible to describe or calculate. One of my most precious memories is of spending a long Columbus Day weekend with Paul, three other men, and twelve middle school boys at a cabin on the shore of Moorehead Lake. Fun and craziness all weekend. Paul joined in whenever he could and was always a steadying influence.
Other memories:
Wednesdays at Stockade. Coffee at Starbucks in Copley Square. Men's breakfast in Braintree. CR and Step Study. Sharing our struggles and successes with writing. Our shared passion for justice and inclusion.

I was always excited when a Sunday rolled around in which Paul was acting. His gift of bringing a story to our congregation through drama was always so helpful to the meaning of a service. You will be sorely missed Paul.

I enjoyed singing in chorus and performing in musicals with Paul at Barnstable High School. He was a very nice person to everyone. I am glad he has such a great family now to carry on his memory. Sending thoughts and prayers to all of you.

I attended Barnstable High School with Paul back in the 70’s. He was the goalie for our Senior League hockey team and we won the league championship with him in the net. In fact, he was selected to the all star team 2 years in a row! He was full of energy and was a fierce competitor. He also served as a manager for the football team. Well liked by all, his attitude was infectious and he was always considered “ one of the guys”. My condolences to the family and I’ll be sure to pass the word to his former teammates who are still here in the Barnstable area. RIP Paul .

Although it has been more than 45 years ago since I last spoke to Paul, I am saddened to hear of his passing. I went to school with Paul in Bedford MA, and lived in the same neighborhood near Noreen Drive, from 1962-1967. Being that the neighborhood was divided from the rest of the town by Rt. 3, it was a very tight enclave, where everyone knew one another and all the kids played together, no matter age or gender. In spite of his mobility issues, Paul refused to be coddled to, or sidelined in any of the many pick up baseball, football, and basketball games that we often played. His legs had limitations, but his arms were always very powerful, and that was what he focused on. He could hit, throw , or shoot with great skill and agility. Having him on your team as quarterback, was always an asset. I also remember, that as a child, he had to endure a number of surgeries, with long immobile, recovery times. I can never remember him complaining. He not only seemed to accept his situation , but bore it with both grace and fortitude. My condolences to all family members.
