Chris Wilcox posted a condolence
Thursday, January 17, 2019
I am saddened by the news that Mrs Floyd had passed. She would kiss me every Sunday as a kid growing up at St Marks Church. One of the nicest people I have ever met. I will never forget her. My mom, Carolyn, organist and choir leader at St. Marks will be saddened by the loss as well. Condolences to the Floyd Family from the Wilcox Family.

Janet, Allen, and families,
Dave and I were so sorry to hear of Aunt Doss’ passing. She was a very special woman and aunt. I will treasure her hermit recipe that she shared with me! She was an inspiration in her faith and in her willingness to always serve. She will be missed, but I know she is lifting her voice in praise in heaven and rejoicing in seeing her loved ones once again. May God comfort you all.

This world has lost a kind loving soul. Aunt Doss was my patient, fun aunt when I was a child; she was my bold, supportive aunt when I was a young adult, and my continuing connection to family, never failing to send Christmas & birthday greetings though her 97th year. She is missed, but my memories remain.

It is with sadness that we have just learned of Doris's death.
We shared many happy times and have wonderful memories of her visits to us in England with Howard and Natalie.
Recently we enjoyed visiting her in her pristine apartment.
She truly lived out her faith loving all unconditionally.
A great example to all.
Rest in peace Doris.
Respect and love to you her family.

When my father worked in Burlington, he would bring me to Auntie Doss's house to visit with her for the day. I have many wonderful memories of sitting at the organ with her and singing hymns or sometimes singing children's song like the Bullfrog Song. Her home was always full of fun and love and I will cherish those memories of spending time with her. We were blessed to be with her and the family to celebrate her birthday this year. I am so thankful that God blessed me with such an amazing Aunt.
