I had the privilege of getting to know Connie at Prescott House where my Mom is a resident. She sat at our table in the dining room and often told stories of her wonderful life and loving family. I too come from an Italian family so could well relate. Connie was beyond kind and always made us laugh. We miss you Connie. Rest in peace.

My sincerest condolences on your loss. I am the grandson of Connie's brother Vincent and the son of his daughter, Rosemarie. I remember once, long ago, visiting "Aunt Connie" and "Uncle Freddie" up in Boston (At the time I foolishly thought Zaffutos only lived in New York). I was in my teens and their energy and youthful exuberance, even at their age, made a great impression on me. I was, and still am, proud to be a Zaffuto and am grateful that Connie's life (and what a life!) story was shared in this obituary. I will be sharing it with my family at my son's 10th birthday dinner later tonight. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. And may her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
