Jan and I met at Northeastern University in the Fall of 1975. We studied together, went skiing, went to Ogunquit, attended shows at NSMT, spent weekends and vacations in Rockport, went to dances, horseback riding and enjoyed a trip to Florida. Life with Jan was never dull! We shared so many laughs while jumping the waves or walking the Beach. We welcomed new family members and shared tears when family members were called to Heaven. St. Patrick’s Day was a major holiday! We were together when we met our husbands and were in each other’s weddings. We shared our dreams and hopes and fears and whatever life tossed at us. Jan’s sense of humor made almost everything an adventure. She was full of fun and life. She and Jerry enjoyed going on many cruises, having a boat at The Danversport Yacht Club, trips to Florida and being together. Jan will be missed, but will hold a special place in many hearts and will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace, my friend.

We are so very sorry to hear about the death of our beloved friend and classmate Janet. She was always in my Homeroom, BHS Class of '64, being the last half of the M's.... Janet was always upbeat and a pleasure to be around. Her Parents allowed her to host one of the BHS Class of '64 Graduation Parties in their backyard and it was a BLAST. Janet came to the reunions and birthday parties to be with us all. In later years, she came with her devoted husband and caregiver Jerry, whom we all got to know and love too. She was courageous and brave, and nothing stopped her from being with her friends and classmates. Janet, you will be missed very much. We hope that Jerry continues to come to the reunions and birthday parties for the class of '64 where we will always remember her.
