To Carl & Mica's family, I am so sorry to read about the recent death of your dad. He was such a kind and gentle man. My mother Tina worked at St margaret's for many years when Carl would count the collections on Monday and work so faithfully in the CCD program. I would see Carl often at mass and I remember one time Mom & I went with your parents to see the symphony in Boston on one of the town rec trips. Carl was so kind to my mom and both of your parents were helpful in her adjustment to life after my dad died. I will be remembering him and all your family in my prayers. What a blessing he was to us and how blessed you were to call him dad. In grateful remembrance.

Janet: I am so sorry for the loss of your dad Carl. Also that i missed the wake and funeral. i had a bad fall 6/12 and broke my wrist in 5 places and was in surgery as all took place. As Music Director of St. Margaret's for the past 21 years i witnessed all the good your dad did in our parish as well as your mom Mica. They were an amazing couple. Recently I often saw the two of you at daily mass at St. Patrick's in Stoneham at 12:00 o'clock mass. I admire you for the love and patience you so generously gave to your dad; which is really a testament of what a wonderful father he was. I had amazing parents also. Faith and family were the two most important things they taught us and they died 10 weeks apart. I saw this fidelity in Carl, and Mica. You, your mom and dad are a blessing on the journey of my life. Carl was an awesome person - a loving husband, a dedicated family man, a caring grandfather, and a cherished friend to all who knew him. Thanks to the kindness and generosity of Dave and Janet (Sullivan) Fitzgerald, Carl and I were able to share many enjoyable nights at Boston College’s Conte Forum rooting for our alma mater’s hockey team against Hockey East rivals. Carl was truly a courageous and inspirational role model. May God bless his bereaved family, and may Carl Rest In Peace for all eternity. Rocky
