Our deepest condolences to Eileen and the family for the loss of Russell. Our prayers are with all of you. We knew Russell when the family lived in Burlington. He was kind, conversational, and always smiling and happy. We share a grandson, and last saw Russell at our grandson's wedding a year ago. You never know when it's the last time you'll ever see someone. It leaves a void in our hearts. Rest in peace, Russell.

I bought my first car of Russell when I was 15. It was a yellow 65 GTO. Thanks Russell for all the memories I had in that car. RIP Russell. God bless the family.

I have been a friend to the family since 1980. I’ve known Eileen since school days in the ‘60’s. My heart aches for you all. I’ve loved you for many years and have spent many happy times with you all. One of the best memories is Russ making his amazing Russ Burgers. Nothing better. A truer friend you could never find. You will be missed and my prayers for your dear family continue for comfort during this difficult time. Love you always. Dottie

We have known Russell & Eileen as neighbors a little over 3 years.Russell always enjoyed conversation, laughter, attempting to help Gene w the car, and a silly joke..Memories most treasured are Russell enjoying a car ride w Gene in Gene's convertible, watching Russell walking "Big Red" and Russell and I leading the pack on a neighborhood walk after a get together at our home..Russell and I walked hand and hand..The WORLD could use more people who possessed the friendly welcoming nature Russell showed EVERYONE EVERYDAY.

I love you all so much. Russ was my only true father figure and truth be known my true dad. It breaks my heart to know he is gone. I may not have been in touch like I should have but you all are never far from my thoughts. RIP Dad.
