Just found out that Larry Passed away!
To Larry's family I am sorry for the passing of Larry what a fine nice Gentleman!!!
This story will be more a story of Larry's career in the Auto Industry and our History with Larry!!!
My family first met Larry in 1984 at Lannan Oldsmobile.....quick and simply we bought a 1985 Olds Cultass Supreme from him and my parents feel in Love with Larry...easy peasy no fuss.
Come 1989 my parents trade in their 85 Olds and buy 1989 Olds Navy Delta 88 brougham from Larry again my parents totally satisfied because one they bought a beautiful 1989 Olds and two Larry took great care of them.
My Mom's Delta early on had some glitches in the Digital dashboard and we brought it in twice but unfortunately they could not find what caused it.....The third time they brought it in my parents went to Larry and that was the end of that Glitch.....My parents
said Larry said....."Oh I will take care of this.....He went out to the Service area and they replaced the ECM. Still under warranty Lannan was going to charge like $150 and Larry said NOPE!!!!! You are all set to my parents and they had that car problem free until 2000.
So come 1997 my Dad needs a new used car and says...I am going to call Larry Dooley......with a little search and my Dad finds Larry at Quirk Leasing I believe and buys a nice used 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass.
Moral of the Story was Larry was a good man and a great Salesman who to us loved what he did but was an honest broker.
That is why my parents stuck with Larry!
We still talk about Larry all the time and just found out today(1/31/2021) of his passing....because we are now looking for another car and it is tough to find an honest broker(my term) like Larry always was!!!!!!
Peace and Love Larry,
The Burns Family

We are so sad for Larry’s loved ones, especially Mary Lou. MaryLou, you took extraordinary care of Larry. He was a wonderful man with an amazing woman by his side. The care you gave him is a true testament to the love you shared. May you all find comfort knowing he is no longer in pain.

A Gentle Giant of a Man, a friend to all, a man who would give you the shirt off his back, and the best deal possible on a new or used car or truck. A Long time benefactor and friend of Boston College Athletics, who travelled around the country with the team, during their heyday. A Friend to all. God Bless my friend, Larry Dooley.
