To all the Moloney family...I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I can picture him so happy with Mary in Heaven. This is such a difficult time to lose a loved one. Without the Mass and not being with all your friends and relatives is so sad. I just lost my brother and I understand your loneliness.
I will always remember Peter and Mary for the kind, gentle, loving people they were.
Love, Mary Nohelty

I am so sorry to hear of Peter's passing. I loved having him around the senior center and I oh so miss the sound of him belting out tunes that carried down the hall. Fridays are much quieter without him and we will miss him and his voice.

I just received the sad news that Peter (or as I only knew him growing up in the neighborhood, "Mr. Moloney") has passed. I remember him as a devoted husband and family man who was proudly connected to his Irish roots and to his faith. My sincere condolences to all of his children and their families in this sad time. May warm memories of your mom and dad bring you comfort always.

I think I first met Peter and his wonderful family when I came to Saint Malachy in 1996 or 1997 after my tenure at Sacred Heart in Lexington. I joined then pastor, Lenny O'Malley and I quickly learned how wonderful, caring, supportive and helpful Peter would be to me and so many other folks in the parish. I would love to be with you at the service but because of the Virus things are very limited at the funeral homes. I will miss being with you and, after the dust settles on the virus threats and if there is a memorial service, I would love to be there and do some music. One of the pieces I sang often at Saint Malachy was my rendition of the Irish Blessing.. Can't sing it now, of course, but I leave you with these ancient as well as contemporary words - "May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall soft upon your fields. And, until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand."

To Caroline and the Entire Moloney Family:
I will miss seeing your Dad at St Malachy's Parish. He was truly the "Mayor" of the church, walking around at the Mass he attended shaking hands with everyone and passing out the weekly bulletins. His strong faith was one to be admired. My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to you all.

I used to see Mary and Peter at the Irish Pastoral Center's Senior Mass at the Irish Cultural Center on the third Thursday of the month. Peter would be the Alter Boy and sell raffle tickets and Mary would tear apart the raffle tickets, what a team. Of course they would get in a dance or two.
Rest in Peace Peter. Thanks for taking care of all of us.

My sincere sympathy to all the Moloney Family. Peter and Mary were such a lovely couple. I am so sorry that Peter should die at these uncertain times where we cannot attend his funeral. I would certainly be there, I will be present whenever normality returns and attend Peter's Memorial Mass, as Mass was so special to Peter.
